• 5+ years of direct experience in Loan Approval, Credit Underwriting, or Risk Management within a reputable commercial bank.
• Demonstrated ability to manually verify financial documents and credit bureau reports.
• Experience in retail lending, mortgage credit, or installment-based products preferred.
• Ability to make decisive credit rejections despite pressures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on reviews of individual credit profiles, bank statements, and pay slips.
• Perform rigorous checks on supporting documents to ensure authenticity.
• Approve, flag, or reject applications based on risk criteria.
• Anticipate potential defaults and design mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Collections to analyze default trends.
