Electronic Engineer (Drill Ship)

Offshore worldwide, currently offshore Indonesia

• Minimum 5 years experience as Electronic Engineer (or similar) of which 2 years on a Saipem rig.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Electronic Engineer (or similar) of which 4 years on a non‑Saipem rig.
• Minimum 5 years experience covering the position as Electronic Engineer, electronic technician or higher.
• High School Diploma in Electrical, Electronic sciences or equivalent.

• Work in coordination with the electrical team, where sufficient electrical knowledge is necessary.
• Plan the electrical maintenance reporting to the Electrical Lead / Chief Engineer.
• Respect HSE and Quality procedures and practices.
• Act as the Cyber Security Officer (CySO) in line with IMO maritime instruments, where applicable as per Organization Chart.

• Monitor and control on‑board electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
• Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedules.
• Propose to own superior the required quantity of material stock levels to maintain work continuity.
• Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices.
• Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipment.
• Act as focal point for cyber security matters.
• Ensure compliance with the cyber security model established by the Company and with the applicable standards, where applicable as per Organization Chart.

• Languages: English Language skills required.
• Technical Knowledge: Drilling systems.

• 12 months CNT duration (subject to extension according to Company needs).
