Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead the daily operations of our early years setting. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of care safety and learning while driving team performance and maintaining a warm nurturing environment for children and parents.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations of the nursery ensuring compliance with KHDA/MOE and Dubai Municipality requirements.

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating and child-centred environment across all learning areas.

  • Manage staffing schedules, classroom ratios and daily routines efficiently.

  • Ensure all health, hygiene and safety protocols are met at all times.

Educational Quality & Curriculum Oversight
  • Implement and monitor an age-appropriate, high-quality EYFS-aligned curriculum.

  • Support teachers in lesson planning, assessments and classroom management.

  • Conduct regular classroom observations and quality audits to maintain best practices.

Team Management & Development
  • Lead, mentor and support teaching and support staff fostering a positive team culture.

  • Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs and coordinate ongoing staff development.

  • Handle conflict resolution, staff motivation and communication within the team.

Parent Relations & Communications
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with parents through regular communication.

  • Conduct parent meetings, orientations and open days.

  • Address parent concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Admissions & Business Growth
  • Manage enrolment processes including tours, registrations and follow-ups.

  • Support marketing and outreach activities to increase admissions and brand presence.

  • Monitor classroom occupancy, budgets and resource allocation.

Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate documentation, children's records and regulatory reports.

  • Ensure the nursery meets all DED, KHDA/MOE, DHA and civil defence standards.

  • Oversee inspections and ensure consistent adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

  • Cache Level 3 / Level 5 certification (preferred).

  • Valid UAE attested certificates.

Experience
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager experience in the UAE.

  • Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and UAE early years regulations.

  • Experience managing staff, handling operations and leading parent engagement.
