About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Housekeeping to join Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping attendants, ensuring efficient service delivery, punctuality, and adherence to grooming and uniform standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and readiness for guests.
  • Manage deep cleaning schedules, maintain accurate records, and follow up on out‑of‑order rooms to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally in line with customer feedback SOPs.
  • Assist with inventories, supplier coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring resources are available and documentation is accurate.
  • Support staff development by providing training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree desirable, preferably with a diploma in Hotel Management
  • Certificate in Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E).
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality operations, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, chemicals, safety procedures, and staff management
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with basic computer proficiency for reporting and record‑keeping
