Job Summary :
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Technician to support and maintain the IT infrastructure.
The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network systems, and ensuring that all IT systems function efficiently to support site operations and head office requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, routers, switches, etc.).
Provide technical support to staff at the head office and construction sites.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware / software faults.
Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords; manage user access and data security.
Monitor and maintain local and remote area networks (LAN / WAN), internet connectivity, and VPN.
Support site teams in setting up IT infrastructure (temporary network setups, CCTV, biometric devices).
Maintain inventory of IT hardware / software assets and documentation.
Ensure data backup and disaster recovery systems are in place and functional.
Assist in implementing cybersecurity measures and ensuring compliance with company IT policies. Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing, software licensing, and IT purchases.
