We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Plant Operator to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our operations team you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our industrial plant ensuring optimal performance safety and efficiency.

• Operate and monitor complex plant equipment machinery and control systems to maintain efficient production processes
• Supervise and train junior operators providing guidance and mentorship to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain continuous plant operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols environmental regulations and quality standards
• Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize plant performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance engineering and quality control to enhance overall plant efficiency
• Participate in emergency response procedures and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in plant operations

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5years of experience in plant operations with a proven track record of success
• Advanced knowledge of plant operations processes and industrial equipment
• Strong proficiency in operating and maintaining complex industrial machinery and control systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
• In-depth understanding of safety protocols environmental regulations and quality standards
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents schematics and operational manuals
• Experience with computerized control systems
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to train and mentor junior operators
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Plant Operator are highly desirable
• Knowledge of industrial processes specific to the plants operations (e.g. oil and gas petrochemicals manufacturing)
• Familiarity with local and international safety standards and regulations
• Ability to work in hot climate conditions
