Job summary
A luxury hotel in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a Recreation Attendant to ensure guest satisfaction at its recreational facilities. This role involves welcoming guests, assisting them with their pool and beach needs, and maintaining the cleanliness of these areas. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, customer service experience, and good English skills. This is a full-time, entry-level position offering a chance to work in a prestigious environment.
Qualifications
- Must maintain cleanliness of pool and beach area including organizing furniture and collecting towels.
- Assist guests with their needs related to the pool / beach area.
- Respond to guest requests and comments in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a warm and sincere welcome for guests.
- Monitor guest needs and safety in the recreational facilities.
- Confirm guest registration before issuing resort property.
Skills
A Recreation Attendant is responsible for ensuring the guest experience while they enjoy the Hotel’s Recreational facilities, including the Pool and Beach area. You will be responsible for the distribution of pool towels to resort guests and provide them with a warm and sincere welcome. Monitoring the guest needs and safety is paramount to this role.
- Assist guests with their needs related to the pool / beach area
- Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of general pool / beach area including emptying used pool towel bins, organizing pool / beach furniture, collecting towels, and neatly arranging the pool towel storage shelves
- Confirm guest registration prior to issuing resort property
- Monitor product inventory in order to minimize the loss of resort property
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Intermediate English language skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Previous customer service experience
