We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, invoices and receipts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost control and profitability.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 35 years of accounting experience preferably in the UAE.
- Certification: CPA, ACCA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with financial data.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Language: Fluency in English is required (Arabic is a plus).
- Availability: Willing to work flexible hours as needed.
