Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll be contributing to our financial operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist in daily activities, recordkeeping and/or bookkeeping including invoices, receipts (service and purchase) and Daily Sales Report.
The primary responsibility should be daily record-keeping and bookkeeping.
Reconcile accounting discrepancies.
Manage accounts payable and receivable under supervision.
Maintain a general ledger and ensure accuracy of journal entries.
Make sure all invoices and receipts are recorded and up to date.
Ensuring data is readily accessible
Keep track of daily transactions for both receivables and payables.

Requirements For The Role

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a junior accountant or relevant role is a plus.
Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail.
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
Strong numeric skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
