Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a talented Project Controls Manager to join our team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead planning, scheduling, progress measurement, risk management, change management, and reporting for the entire project.
- Provide guidance and assistance to planning & risk staff, interface with clients, and participate in meetings.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project controls processes, procedures, systems, and tools, ensuring compliance.
- Organize project controls workshops/meetings to address and resolve control issues with contractors/consultants.
- Create a Master Schedule considering interdependencies among multiple packages to assess impacts across projects.
- Review and communicate consent for Contractors’ Baseline schedules in accordance with contract conditions and Parsons practices.
- Validate resource allocation for timely project completion.
- Identify potential risks and conflicts, documenting them in the Project Risk Register.
- Verify and evaluate planning and scheduling information, identifying delays and suggesting mitigation strategies.
- Conduct “What if” analyses to assess impacts of changes and provide alternative solutions.
- Prepare progress reports, analyze programs, and present updates on milestones.
- Assess claims related to delays and disruptions using delay analysis methodologies.
- Coordinate with PMC, Contractors, and the Employer to resolve scheduling issues.
- Work with the Client to finalize programs, reports, and claims.
- Attend meetings, provide input, and prepare minutes.
- Maintain trackers/logs to monitor critical issues during design and construction.
- Establish progress measurement systems and key indicators with stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively, conduct presentations, and respond analytically to notices and issues.
- Keep detailed project records and issue delay notices when necessary.
- Manage a team of planning engineers, providing technical and leadership support.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- 15+ years of planning and scheduling experience across various projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.

- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
