ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN
Job summary
A leading contracting company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Draftsman to prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in architecture or civil engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the UAE/GCC. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and knowledge of Revit is an advantage. Immediate availability is a must for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in contracting companies in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong knowledge of detailing construction methods and drafting standards.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE with immediate availability to join.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings, layouts, sections, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with design engineering and site teams to ensure drawings reflect design intent.
- Modify and revise drawings based on comments from consultants, engineers or construction teams.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to local authority regulations and project standards.
- Assist in preparing asbuilt drawings and documentation for project closeout.
Skills
Education
- Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings, layouts, sections, and shop drawings in compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with design engineering and site teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent and site conditions.
- Modify and revise drawings based on comments from consultants, engineers or construction teams.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to local authority regulations, project standards and company quality guidelines.
- Assist in preparing asbuilt drawings and documentation for project closeout.
- Maintain organized documentation and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in contracting companies in the UAE/GCC.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit or other drafting software is an advantage.
- Proven experience in large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of detailing construction methods and drafting standards.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE with immediate availability to join.
