About the job PRE SALES ENGINEER - ELV/AV SYSTEMS
On behalf of our client, a leading company specializing in IT Infrastructure, ELV, Security Systems, Networking, and Virtualization Solutions in the Middle East, we are seeking an experienced, self-motivated ELV/ Audio-Visual Pre-Sales Engineer for immediate hiring in [Dubai].
Accountabilities Include:
- Attend site surveys to obtain design space details.
- Explain technical solutions in simplified terms to customers of varying technical ability.
- Create one-line conceptual system diagrams using AutoCAD or Visio.
- Provide detailed Scope of Work and Operational Narrative for the proposed solution.
- Review Requests for Proposal (RFP) and generate Requests for Information (RFI) to address design deficiencies in RFP.
- Create installation drawing package to include floorplan layout, rack elevations, mounting elevations, and wiring diagrams for smaller design-build Audio-Visual projects.
Requirements for Success:
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the design of ELV/ Audio-Visual systems.
- Experience working in AutoCAD, Visio, D-Tools, or similar ELV/Audio-Visual Design software.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude working with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, and other similar products.
- Design & Engineering of IP and Analogue CCTV System, Biometric systems, ACS systems, Burglar Alarm systems based on the drawings & technical specifications.
- Preparation of Tender Document, BOQ & Estimation for proposed site.
- AVIXA CTS or CTS-D preferred.
- System Design & Estimation of alarm system, CCTV, Access control System and Public Address System.
- Knowledge of Data Networking as it relates to Audio-Visual systems.
- Configuration of DVR, NVR, BIOMETRIC, ACS SYSTEMS.
- Knowledge of Parking Barrier systems, PA systems, PABX systems.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Coordination with Client & Consultant to meet the system requirement with value-added thoughts with low-cost effects.
