The Foreman - Painting supervises the painting and coating activities, ensuring that all surface preparation, application, and finishing work comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role involves planning daily tasks, assigning responsibilities to painting crews, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and efficient completion. The foreman enforces strict health and safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and adherence to environmental regulations, to maintain a safe working environment.

Beyond direct supervision, the foreman coordinates with quality control inspectors, engineers, and project management to ensure all painting work meets inspection criteria and technical standards. They review coating procedures and specifications, resolve on-site issues, and oversee material usage and equipment maintenance. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are vital to delivering durable, high-quality coating applications that protect assets and enhance project longevity.

• High school diploma or vocational training in painting, coatings, or a related field; technical certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a painter, including supervisory or leadership exposure.
• Proven expertise in painting techniques, surface preparation, and color matching.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HSE practices relating to hazardous materials, confined space work, and scaffolding safety.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights, with keen attention to detail.
