Job Description:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to required specifications. Your focus will be on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical systems and components for a variety of projects.
- Develop electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations.
- Perform electrical calculations and simulations to support design decisions.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
- Prepare and present project documentation and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design and engineering.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations in Abu Dhabi and internationally.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
- Experience with renewable energy systems is desirable.
