Due to a robust project pipeline, our Abu Dhabi team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer / Senior Site Electrical Engineer - Dry Utilities (Infrastructure) to oversee an infrastructure project based in Madinat Zayed.

• Work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team across various infrastructure, buildings, transport, and other project types.
• Assist the Resident Engineer in managing daily operations, reviewing and approving contractor submittals, and ensuring quality control and assurance.
• Perform routine inspection and monitoring tasks to verify proper construction supervision by others.
• Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
• Document non-conformance issues and participate in resolution processes.
• Support the Resident Engineer in overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulations.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain timelines.
• Monitor and report on project budgets, schedules, and quality measures.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance on site.
• Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Assist in preparing change orders and contract modifications.
• Contribute to sustainable construction practices.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years postgraduate experience, with at least 7 years on large projects.
• Regional experience preferred.
• Authority registration preferred.
• Ability to manage and coordinate a specialized team of moderate size and complexity.
• UAE Driving License.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in infrastructure projects.
