Job Title: Marketing Lead • Level: Head of Function • Reporting to: Managing Director / CEO • Location: Dubai UAE
Role Purpose: The Marketing Lead will own and drive the end-to-end marketing strategy across all owned and distributed brands aligning business goals with brand purpose and market needs. This role holds full accountability for brand financial performance budgeting and ROI across campaigns and channels. It requires a strategic thinker who combines creativity with commercial acumen, empowers teams while ensuring accountability and consistently promotes and lives the company's core values.
Responsibilities
- Strategic & Financial Leadership
- Define and lead the overall marketing strategy in line with business growth, brand positioning and profitability targets.
- Own the marketing function's full P&L and ensure alignment between marketing activities and commercial objectives.
- Monitor and analyze brand-level sales costs, ROI performance and key KPIs with Brand Managers, ensuring financial accountability across the team.
- Partner with Brand Managers, Finance and Sales teams to set and track brand-level budgets, forecasts and performance metrics.
- Consolidate insights across digital, brand and trade marketing to create alignment and clarity across the function, enabling brand teams to see the full picture and make informed decisions.
- Champion a marketing culture rooted in excellence, innovation, accountability and continuous learning.
- Regularly report performance metrics and insights to the leadership team to guide strategic decisions.
- Digital Strategy Insights & Brand Visibility
- Lead the digital and eCommerce strategy across all brands and platforms, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and focus.
- Oversee performance marketing, content, CRM and conversion strategies embedding digital priorities into every brand plan.
- Build robust market intelligence through data analytics, consumer insights and competitive benchmarking, turning insights into clear actions.
- Set overarching communication strategy across PR, influencers and partnerships to drive visibility, engagement and brand equity.
- Ensure brand integrity, voice and consistency across all channels while enabling brand teams to create content creatively and strategically.
- Drive digital innovation including testing new platforms and tools that align with consumer behavior trends.
- Team Development & Functional Excellence
- Lead a high-performing, empowered marketing team with clear roles, accountability and a strong ownership mindset.
- Drive a collaborative, agile, empowered and commercially oriented team culture.
- Provide coaching, external training and exposure opportunities to grow marketing talent.
- Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Education, Supply Chain and Export to drive aligned execution.
- Ensure marketing timelines, content and activities are synced with business priorities, product availability and sales targets.
- Foster a culture of creative excellence and encourage cross-brand collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10 years of progressive experience in marketing with proven leadership in brand management and digital/eCommerce, preferably in the beauty, luxury or lifestyle sectors.
- Experience managing multi-brand portfolios and regional marketing strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen and cross-functional alignment capabilities.
- Experience with marketing analytics, performance tracking and financial accountability.
