The Director of Business AI is a critical leadership role within du's AI Center of Excellence, responsible for shaping and executing business‑centric AI roadmap (corporate‑level) that delivers tangible impact. The role drives the development of AI roadmap, partnership, and change management processes, enabling AI to act as a catalyst for business transformation. This role ensures du captures transformative business value from AI by accelerating innovation, delivering measurable business outcomes, and embedding AI across business functions responsibly and effectively. The director of business AI works closely with the director of AI solutioning and the director of Responsible AI to prioritize and translate the business requirements into tangible highly impactful and responsible AI solutions.

• Build and lead a business‑led AI roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring rapid and impactful deployment of AI solutions across du.
• Develop and operationalize new AI ideation or innovation processes, standards, and frameworks to streamline and accelerate AI solutioning. This include supporting business domains to prioritize their requirements, quantify the ROI and rethink their processes.
• Partner closely with business domains to articulate problem statements, co‑create AI use cases, and drive business value.
• Champion the translation of business needs into AI opportunities, ensuring each AI project delivers measurable outcomes and aligns with du's strategic goals.
• Lead strategic AI partnerships, including sourcing, onboarding, and managing 3rd‑party vendors and hyperscalers, ensuring solutions align with du's innovation ambitions.
• Work closely with AI Solutioning and Governance teams to integrate ethical, regulatory, and commercial standards into business AI solutions.
• Lead Business AI capability building efforts, nurturing cross‑functional teams' readiness to design, evaluate, and adopt AI solutions.
• Oversee AI program financials, developing business cases, monitoring AI‑related KPIs, and ensuring ROI tracking and reporting.
• Develop and execute an AI participation plan to ensure strong representation of du in local and global forums, showcasing du’s leadership in AI innovation and excellence.

• Master’s degree in IT, AI Business Administration, Management, Strategy, or a related field from a leading institution
• Preferably: Track record of continuous education/learning in areas such as big data, analytics, ICT, data science, ML, AI or digital transformation
• 10+ years of a leading position, preferably in a large consulting company, corporate or in a Telco industry
• Solidexperience working with AI/ML product development lifecycles and delivering business‑oriented AI solutions.
• Extensive experience managing strategic projects from ideation through execution.
• Strong experience in sourcing and managing technology vendors, including hyperscalers and ICT solution providers.
• Previous relevant work in Generative AI projects
• AI literacy or "Ability to translate business needs into AI use cases"
• Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative, high‑impact business solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to champion and drive new technology adoption and innovation initiatives.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, with excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills.
