A global engineering firm is seeking an Architectural Design Director to join their Cities and Places team in Dubai. Jacobs is looking for a talented Architectural Design Director, to join our Cities and Places team in Dubai. You will have the opportunity to lead and deliver the design of challenging buildings projects, mixed-use developments, and unique places of human interaction. You will be responsible for managing the design cross functional, multi-disciplinary teams, with the ability to provide direction across the team to ensure delivery of client projects whilst developing new business.

In addition to the above, you will be working on the following:
As a successful candidate you will have a BS or MS degree in Architecture or Engineering, from a recognized university, with hands on experience on Mega projects. You will ideally have experience from the Middle East, in the capacity of a Design Director. It is important that you can demonstrate a strong knowledge of recognized design management control principles, with the ability to motivate others and work to tight deadlines. You will have excellent client management skills and have the capacity to work with and lead diverse teams when under pressure whilst always being commercially savvy, in what is considered a rapidly changing sector. An internationally recognized professional registrations would be a plus.
