Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design of roads and highways projects from concept to detailed design stages, ensuring adherence to international and local design standards.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to establish project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to design teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and innovative solutions.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and departments to achieve seamless integration of project components.
- Support business development activities by contributing to proposal writing, project costing, and client presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, standards, and technologies in road and highway design.

Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master s degree is preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in roads and highways design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience working on design projects within the Middle East, ideally in the UAE.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering design software such as Civil 3D, InRoads, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of local UAE regulations, standards, and practices related to road and highway projects.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
