Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager – Hospitality (Luxury Projects) to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in providing design leadership, driving innovation, and managing the design team through all project phases, from concept to completion.

Design Leadership & Oversight: Lead and manage the architectural design process for luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. Ensure that the design aligns with the client’s vision, luxury standards, and project objectives, delivering exceptional architectural quality. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the design team, ensuring a high level of detail and craftsmanship in design solutions.

Project Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, to coordinate design development and ensure alignment with project goals. Lead design meetings, presenting architectural concepts and solutions while addressing feedback and integrating it into the design process. Collaborate with other disciplines (MEP, structural, interiors) to ensure that all building systems are integrated into the architectural design without compromising luxury aesthetics.

Luxury Design Execution: Manage the selection of high-end materials, finishes, and bespoke design elements to create spaces that reflect luxury and exclusivity. Oversee the implementation of architectural details that emphasize precision, innovation, and superior quality, ensuring all design work exceeds luxury project expectations. Ensure that design documentation and construction drawings reflect the highest level of accuracy, suitable for high-end luxury execution.

Design Review & Quality Control: Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and local regulations while maintaining the integrity of luxury standards. Implement design quality control processes throughout all project phases, identifying potential design risks or issues early and resolving them proactively. Oversee the production of design deliverables, including drawings, 3D models, and presentations, ensuring they meet the client’s and project’s expectations.

Client Liaison & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their design aspirations are understood and met, and providing regular updates on design progress. Manage client presentations, incorporating their feedback and adjusting design elements to ensure client satisfaction in line with luxury project expectations. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring ongoing collaboration and alignment throughout the design and construction phases.

Budget & Schedule Management: Work closely with the project management team to ensure that design work adheres to the project schedule and budget constraints, without compromising on luxury quality or detail. Review cost estimates for architectural design elements, ensuring the selection of materials and systems aligns with project budgets while maintaining design excellence.

Sustainability & Innovation: Integrate sustainable design practices and cutting‑edge technologies into the design to meet both luxury standards and environmental performance objectives. Stay updated with global trends in luxury architecture, ensuring innovative solutions and advanced technologies are integrated into the design process.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• A minimum of 16 years of architectural design and project management experience, with at least 10 years focused on luxury construction projects. Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, high‑end luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality developments.
• Expertise in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp) and proficiency in 3D visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of high‑end materials, bespoke finishes, and luxury architectural details.
• In‑depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices, particularly in the luxury market.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high‑performance teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• A meticulous attention to detail and an innate understanding of luxury aesthetics and client expectations.
• Professional licensure (e.g., Registered Architect, RIBA, AIA, and EXPRO).
• Experience working with leading developers or clients in the luxury sector.
• Familiarity with international luxury design standards and experience on prestigious global projects.
