Job summary
A leading engineering firm in the UAE is seeking a Pavement Engineer specializing in airport projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, evaluation, and maintenance of airside pavements. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with operational safety standards. Qualifications
- Experience in airport airside pavement design and construction.
- Familiarity with ICAO Annex 14, FAA Advisory Circulars, and ASTM/AASHTO standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis of pavements using guidelines.
- Conduct pavement condition surveys and load-bearing capacity assessments.
- Specify materials for subgrade, base, and surface layers.
- Collaborate with project teams for integrated design.
- Monitor construction and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Prepare technical reports and maintenance plans.
