Job Title

Finance Manager - Commercial Ecommerce | MAF Retail | UAE Digital Corporate Head Office

Manager – Finance (Financial Controller) is responsible for establishing a reliable financial reporting system in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures which monitors the achievements of the sourcing function objectives and provides stakeholders with relevant financial data for the decision-making process. The role holder is also responsible for recommending areas of improvement in order to achieve the sourcing function targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in monitoring allocated budget to ensure compliance and highlight possible issues
2. Provide inputs on the preparation of budget when necessary
3. Provide inputs on cost reduction measures
4. Ensure that financial aspects of the contracts are adhered to and are renewed in a timely manner
5. Control suppliers’ payment terms and consequences
6. Oversee the preparation of the sourcing function’s performance analysis
7. Prepare business presentations and reports for stakeholders periodically and on ad hoc basis when required
8. Responsible for business analysis and modelling including:

1. Monthly financial closing (budgetary control, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
2. Monthly forecast
3. Annual budget
4. Stock turnover

Minimum Qualifications/Education:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Commerce
2. 6+ years of experience in a similar role, of which 2+ years in retail
3. Strong business communication and presentation skills
4. Strong analytical and technical skills in financial analysis and reporting
