Job summary
A hiring agency is looking for an experienced Carpenter in Haur-Fakkan, UAE. Candidates will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures, including kitchen cabinets and frameworks. - Constructing, installing and repairing structures made out of wood, metal, drywall or other materials.
- Inspecting structures periodically and determining the need for repairs or replacements.
- Assembling window frames, doors, staircases and framework.
- Measuring and cutting materials according to specifications.
- Installing kitchen cabinets and countertops.
- Utilizing power tools such as drills and saws to cut wood accurately.
- Ensuring that all safety standards are met when using equipment or completing tasks.
- Proven experience in carpentry work is essential; certification from a technical school is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately.
- Excellent manual dexterity with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels etc.
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery such as routers, jointers etc.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on ladders or scaffolding when necessary.
- Good physical strength in order to lift heavy materials when needed
