Job summary
A telecommunications company is seeking a Carpenter Fixed Network to perform carpentry works for manhole covers and support structures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in telecom/civil projects, especially knowledge of Etisalat and DU standards. Responsibilities include ensuring safe fitting of manhole structures and maintaining wooden components. This role requires physical fitness and coordination with civil and telecom teams.
Qualifications

- Skilled in using various carpentry tools and materials.
- Knowledge of Etisalat/DU standards.

Job Title: Carpenter Fixed Network (Manhole Works)
Location: UAE
- Perform carpentry works for manhole covers frames ducts and wooden supports in fixed network projects.
- Ensure safe and accurate fitting of manhole structures as per Etisalat/DU specifications.
- Fabricate cut and install wooden shuttering or protective works for manholes.
- Repair, replace and maintain manhole covers, ducts and related wooden structures.
- Follow HSE (Health Safety & Environment) guidelines at all times.
- Coordinate with civil and telecom teams to ensure smooth site execution.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as a carpenter in telecom/civil projects specifically Etisalat and DU manhole works.
- Skilled in using carpentry tools and materials for heavy-duty site work.
- Knowledge of Etisalat/DU standards for manhole and duct installation.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and underground conditions.
- Ability to follow site engineers instructions and project drawings.
