The Field Application Engineer (FAE) UPS & Data Centers is responsible for providing technical expertise onsite support and application support to our sales teams. The role involves detailed site visits as per project specifications, presales consultation, solution design, product selection, technical presentations, and postsales support for Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Batteries, Cooling Systems, and other critical power infrastructure in data centers and mission-critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Detailed site visits to check the basic parameters as per project specifications.
2. Analyze the requirements and recommend suitable products from Delta's portfolio.
3. Prepare the project BOQ for the sales team to pitch to the client.
4. Technical presentations to explain the solution and compliance with the project specs.
5. Testing & commissioning of the units (if required).
6. Compliance and other required documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in UPS and battery systems, cooling solutions, and data center application products.
3. Hands-on experience in UPS commissioning, technical support, or field engineering.
4. Certifications like CDCP, CDCDP, or PMP (preferred).
5. Strong knowledge of UPS topologies and battery technologies and calculations.
6. Familiarity with data center infrastructure components (cooling, racks, PDUs, generators, ATS).
7. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and SLDs.
8. AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
9. Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
10. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and system optimization.
11. Ability to work independently and collaborate with sales & product management teams.
