Role Overview: As a Graduate Engineer Structural in our Abu Dhabi office, you will collaborate with our team to assist in the design and analysis of various structural elements. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will develop your skills in structural modeling, calculations, and project coordination. This role will provide hands-on experience in structural engineering within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models as per specific discipline requirements. Works on drawings under the supervision of an experienced Engineer.
• Assist with the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs under project timelines.
• Under supervision, perform work following the agreed-upon budget and schedule.
• When required, collect and analyze information from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
• Use computer software as a tool for solving fundamental engineering problems.
• Coordinate with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
• Check and ensure the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams for accuracy to design instructions.
• Actively seek information, opportunities to participate and contribute, and develop efficiencies and effectiveness.
• Contribute by solving problems and applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.
• Application of structural analysis and design principles.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with courses taken in Structural Engineering related subjects from an accredited University.
• Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
• Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
• As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
