Job summary

A multinational engineering firm is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to oversee and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) across data centers in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational uptime, performing preventive maintenance, and providing technical support. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5-10 years of experience in critical facility environments. This position requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and familiarity with BMS platforms, especially from the company’s offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years experience working with BMS in a data center or critical facility environment.
• In-depth knowledge of BMS platforms (Johnson Controls).
• Ability to work in 24x7 mission-critical environments including on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage BMS systems across multiple sites for optimal performance.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for installations and upgrades.
• Maintain and update BMS software graphics and configurations.
• Prepare and maintain PPM Reports and schedules.
