Beauty Distribution Planner | Forecast & Merchandising Lead
Job summary
A leading retail company in Dubai is looking for a Distribution Planner to manage sales performance and inventory across wholesale partners. The ideal candidate will leverage their 2-4 years of relevant experience, particularly in a retail environment, preferably within the Beauty and Skincare industry. Responsibilities include analyzing sales trends, coordinating logistics, and developing relationships with wholesale partners to optimize profitability. Strong skills in forecasting and inventory management are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in a Planner role.
- Experience in a Retail environment is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a Beauty and Skincare retail environment is required.
- Experience in Distribution and Wholesale is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate demand forecasts for wholesale partners by analyzing sales trends.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance by account and identify risks.
- Coordinate with Logistics for on-time delivery and fulfillment of wholesale orders.
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly sales and stock reports.
- Support planning and execution of end-of-season stock clearance.
- Work closely with Finance to validate margins and assess promotions.
- Develop and maintain relationships for effective sharing of information.
- Build strong relationships with wholesale partners to understand trends.
