Job summary
A recruitment consultancy specializing in various fields is looking for an experienced Audit Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing assurance in auditing, managing teams, and developing audit strategies. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, relevant certifications, and at least 8 years of experience in Internal Audit, with a command of English. Qualifications
- MUST possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business Administration or Engineering/IT.
- Professional certification from an accredited institution required.
- MUST HAVE at least 8 years of experience in Internal Audit plus 4 years in a managerial role.
- Relevant industry experience, especially construction project auditing, highly preferable.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Provide assurance that risk exposures are well managed.
- Assist in the development of audit strategies and plans.
- Manage a team of auditors.
- Oversee the delivery of audits by third parties.
- Maintain up-to-date status on all reported audit observations.

One of our clients based in Abu Dhabi and active within the Oil & Gas sector is currently looking for an Audit Manager to assist the Internal Audit Director.
- You will provide assurance that risk exposures are well managed, control framework and corporate governance processes are in place, effective, and efficient, and that improvements are sustained and supported.
- You will assist the Internal Audit Director in the development of audit strategies and plans.
- You will manage a team of auditors.
- You will oversee the delivery of audits by third parties.
- You will maintain up-to-date status on all reported audit observations.
- MUST possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business Administration or Engineering/IT.
- Professional certification from an accredited institution (ACA, CIA, ACCA, CPA).
- MUST HAVE at least 8 years of experience in Internal Audit + 4 years in a managerial role.
- Relevant industry experience is highly preferable, especially skills such as construction project auditing.
