A global testing and certification firm seeks a Site Laboratory Manager for its Civil Engineering labs in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will manage laboratory operations, ensure quality standards, and communicate effectively with clients and management. Candidates should have relevant diplomas and substantial experience in laboratory management and operations.

SGS South Africa, Matrocast Division, is seeking to fill a key role in its Civil Engineering Site Laboratories in the Western Cape Region. The roles involves but not limited to providing, implement and manage a laboratory production plan as per the site requirements. The Site Laboratory Manager to ensure all client communication is communicated to the relevant Regional/Contracts Manager and ensure the requests are acted on, while maintaining discipline on site.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a person with good leadership skills, integrity and good interpersonal skills and is able to command respect from those he/she deals with, whilst possessing enough energy and passion to maintain good staff relationships. A successful career in delivering performance against agreed strategic objectives and ultimately ensuring that all quality and testing methods are observed, and any deviation is reported without delay.
