The Hydraulic Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic systems and components across various equipment and machinery. This role requires a deep understanding of hydraulic principles, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining system reliability and operational efficiency.
- System Maintenance and Repairs:
o Perform routine inspections and minimize breakdowns and downtime by implementing preventative maintenance plans.
o Diagnose issues and repair or replace faulty components, including pumps, valve banks, cylinders, and hoses.
o Rebuild hydraulic systems and cylinders.
o Manufacture and assemble hydraulic pipes, cylinders, etc.
o Ensure systems meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
o Attend to all welding and boilermaker requirements.
o Minimize breakdowns and downtime through preventative maintenance.
Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues in hydraulic systems.
Analyze performance data to optimize system functionality and resolve inefficiencies.
Provide technical guidance to team members on hydraulic systems and best practices.
Train operators and maintenance staff on the safe and efficient use of hydraulic equipment.
