A manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Toolmaker/Fitter & Turner in Gqeberha. The role involves CNC programming, operating machinery, and ensuring high-quality standards in component manufacturing. Candidates should have relevant qualifications, including Grade 12 and artisan qualifications, along with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Computer literate and capable of reading mechanical drawings.
- Drivers License: Code 8 required.
Responsabilités
- Program and operate the CNC Lathe for manufacturing components.
- Maintain quality and tolerances as stipulated in tasks.
- Plan and complete tasks as defined in mechanical drawings.
Connaissances
Formation
- Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12
- Qualified Artisan: Toolmaker/Fitter & Turner
- Experience:
- 2 - 5 years' experience in Machining / Tool making environment
- Minimum of 2 years in CNC programming and machining
- Computer Literate
- Languages:
- English - Read, write and speak (required)
- Afrikaans - Read, write and speak (optional)
- Drivers Licence: Code 8- (required)
- The Successful Incumbent (Toolmaker/Fitter & Turner) must be competent in reading mechanical drawings, actual planning and completion of the task as set out on the aforesaid drawing.
- Be responsible for programming and operating the CNC Lathe, for all components to be manufactured.
- He must maintain quality as well as tolerances as stipulated for all tasks assigned to him and complete tasks as per project timing requirement
