Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12; Diploma in Warehouse and Distribution Management preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in stock control and warehousing (customer-focused environment)
  • At least 2 years forklift operating experience with fragile products
  • Computer literacy: Sage, MS Word, Outlook, Excel (intermediate to advanced)
Working Hours
  • 2-shift cycle, alternating weekly:
    • Mon–Sat: 07h00–15h00 (with every 2nd Sat until 19h00)
    • Mon–Fri: 15h00–23h00
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Production Reconciliation: Verify daily manufactured totals with Production and Stock Controllers; plan space allocation for finished goods
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee safe handling and storage of stock, update forklift and license registers, and support auditors during stocktakes and food safety audits
  • Stock Control: Ensure accurate picking, loading, and system updates; prepare required documentation (DA32, customs authorisations, invoices)
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce company Health & Safety standards, maintain hygiene and housekeeping, manage transporters’ compliance, and assist in audits and incident investigations
  • Administration: Monitor truck schedules, issue documentation, create purchase orders, and provide stock status updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • People Management: Supervise warehouse employees (finished and dry goods), maintain accurate time and attendance records, and support HR with reporting
