Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As a Warehouse Dispatcher you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule the movement of goods from the warehouse to the designated delivery locations
• Communicate with warehouse staff delivery drivers and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and update the system accordingly
• Prepare and maintain delivery schedules and reports
• Resolve any issues or delays in delivery by working closely with the warehouse team and delivery drivers
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed during the transportation of goods
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Collaborate with other departments to improve warehouse operations and streamline processes
• Train and supervise new dispatch staff as needed
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Dispatcher or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Forklift certification is a plus

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday to Friday. However occasional evening and weekend work may be required during busy periods. The Warehouse Dispatcher will be based in our warehouse facility and may be required to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
