About the job Warehouse/Cold Store Manager

Are you a highly driven, experienced Warehouse or Cold Store Manager with a passion for managing people, processes, and products in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment?

Were looking for a hands-on leader to oversee the full warehouse and cold storage function, ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a variety of products.

• Lead and manage all cold store and warehouse operations.

Ensure effective stock management, picking accuracy, and timely dispatch of orders.

Oversee inbound and outbound logistics in line with cold chain protocols.

Manage and train a team of warehouse assistants, supervisors, and forklift drivers.

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant cold storage environment.

Ensure all health & safety, food safety, and hygiene standards are met.

Prepare daily and weekly reports on stock, deliveries, and operations.

Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric (Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain is an advantage)

Minimum 5 years' experience managing a cold store or warehouse (preferably in FMCG or food production)

Proven ability to lead a diverse team and meet operational KPIs

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)

Sound understanding of cold chain processes and food safety regulations

Good command of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools

Able to work flexible hours and weekends when necessary
