We’re looking for a Voice Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust VoIP and SIP-based communication systems, including IP-PBX and SBC/ESBC platforms. You’ll integrate voice services with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and Azure Communication Services, ensuring seamless performance and scalability. In collaboration with DevOps and CloudOps teams, you’ll deploy voice solutions using Azure-native tools like AKS and ACR, while monitoring infrastructure with tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump. Security compliance, disaster recovery planning, and documentation are key aspects of the role. Success in this position requires strong ownership, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous learning and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain VoIP and SIP-based communication systems, including IP-PBX and SBC/ESBC platforms.
• Integrate and optimise voice services within Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and Azure Communication Services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot voice infrastructure using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Collaborate with DevOps and CloudOps teams to deploy scalable voice solutions using Azure-native services (e.g., AKS, ACR, Resource Patching).
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and implement disaster recovery strategies for voice platforms.
• Document voice integration processes and share knowledge across teams.
