Position

Video Content and Social Media Producer and Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce engaging video content from raw footage, including supplier meetings, travel, and lifestyle shoots.
• Create optimized content for multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Add captions, graphics, and storytelling elements to enhance audience engagement and accessibility.
• Manage and organize a large video asset library (1.75TB+) for efficient retrieval and use.
• Identify standout moments from footage and repurpose them into short‑form and long‑form videos and reels.
• Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithms, and best practices to keep content competitive.
• Collaborate closely with the client to translate her vision into compelling and brand‑aligned content.
• Deliver both short and long‑form content within tight deadlines, ensuring high production quality.

Requirements

• 3+ Years experience in video and content production for all major social media platforms.
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) and basic design tools.
• A strong understanding of storytelling techniques and brand positioning.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing large volumes of raw footage.
• A proactive communicator who can anticipate content needs and contribute creative ideas.

Where and how you can work

• Work on‑site from our office in Ilovo, Sandton.
• Be willing to work non‑traditional South African office hours (night shift – USA Hours 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM).
