Hello Future Technical Testing Lead

As part of our eBucks Product house, you will need to drive the eBucks Rewards strategy towards customer centric solutions. As a Lead of a software testing team you will oversee software testing throughout the various stages of software development lifecycle, including unit testing (during development, testing individual code units), integration testing (combining and testing different modules), functional testing (verifying features against requirements), performance testing (assessing system performance under load), acceptance testing (final user validation), smoke testing (basic functionality check), and regression testing (ensuring changes don\'t break existing features) – essentially. Quality assurance activities associated with software analysis and testing. This includes developing test plans, performing exploratory testing and executing functional and regression testing. You will work closely with Financial Modelling, development teams, product management and support teams to ensure the engine is ready for release.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver against operational and cost targets
  • Prioritise resource allocation to minimise and reduce wastage
  • Ensure full understanding of customer needs to deliver a quality service
  • Ensure customer service solutions are aligned to the business operational plan, Organisational values and service standards
  • Provide customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability
  • Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by organisation and review in response to audit findings and changes
  • Develops an understanding of risks and risk management approaches
  • Educates others and makes suggestions for improvements
  • Ensure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey map
  • Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimize redundancy
  • Provide input into the development of the business area tactical strategy in achievement of the overall business strategy
  • Prepare a personal development plan with management to implement and review as required
  • Monitor own progress against development plan and measure impact of results
  • Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared
  • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders to achieve productivity synergies
  • Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvement
Qualifications and experience
  • A certification in testing application would be advantageous and a relevant IT Degree a must.
  • Strong team management experience.
  • Experience working with technical delivery teams.
  • 5-7 years testing experience, has led a team before, has led projects before, has worked with complex systems across different platforms, understands big data and ETL processing.
  • Must be technically sound in SQL, Perl, Linux, Postgres and AWS Reshif (not mandatory)
  • Loyalty or rewards programme experience.
  • Able to advise on strategy and implement
  • Able to give guidance to admin staff member effectively
