Position: Technical Sales Representative - cosmetic ingredients, surfactants, fragrances, preservatives, and emulsifiers (formulation experience NB)

Job Purpose:
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and growing the sales of defined products within the cosmetic ingredients, surfactants, fragrances, preservatives, and emulsifiers industry. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing customer relationships, offering technical assistance, and driving new business opportunities on a national scale.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular customer and sales visits to foster strong relationships.
  • Drive new business development and support marketing initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare and manage annual sales forecasts and targets.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
  • Initiate and manage product development projects.
  • Monitor and follow up on samples, manage inventory levels, and control working capital.
  • Conduct monthly sales and budget reviews, and provide ongoing feedback to management.
  • Liaise with other industry groups to identify cross-selling and sales opportunities.
Person Profile
  • Degree or Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering.
  • 5 – 7 years of relevant sales experience, with a strong understanding of the industry.
