Technical Sales Consultant (Johannesburg – Remote) – Permanent – CPT – Sales and Marketing

We’re looking for a motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join our team, working remotely while covering the Johannesburg region.

In this role

Take the lead in supporting installers with technical expertise, training, and on‑site assistance, while promoting the full product and service offering. Act as the link between local market needs and our national technical and sales teams, driving product adoption and building strong installer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with installers to promote products, encourage upselling, and expand the network.
  • Conduct site visits to support installations, provide technical troubleshooting, and resolve escalations.
  • Deliver engaging product training sessions and awareness campaigns.
  • Record all interactions, feedback, and activities in CRM systems.
  • Share market insights and competitor feedback to inform sales strategies.
What You’ll Need
  • Matric (Senior Certificate) – Technical Diploma or N4 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering advantageous.
  • 3+ years’ experience in technical sales or field support (access automation or electronic security preferred).
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Highly self‑motivated with effective territory management ability.
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle; petrol will be compensated.
