Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end recruitment process to attract, source and hire talent in line with business needs, Employment Equity requirements and Atlas Copco’s "The Way We Do Things".
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with line managers to identify current and future staffing needs.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: initiate job requisitions, post jobs internally and externally, shortlist candidates, coordinate interviewing, administer assessments, negotiate offers, arrange verification checks (criminal, qualifications, references) and onboarding coordination.
- Draft offers, appointment letters, announcement letters and publish announcements on the Group People News page.
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies for sourcing temporary and contract workers.
- Advise line managers on the most effective recruitment methods and channels for specific roles.
- Develop external channels and networks to attract and recruit talent.
- Analyze feedback from 90‑, 30‑ and 60‑day onboarding surveys in Glint and implement strategies to enhance employee experience.
- Identify and advise line managers on underrepresented race and gender groups at an occupational level that need to be targeted for appointments when a vacancy arises.
- Track and report progress against Employment Equity goals.
- Maintain a complete paper trail to justify deviations from appointments in line with Employment Equity targets.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment statistics (e.g., Time to Hire) using People Analytics to identify trends and make improvements.
- Provide support to employees on the internal job market.
- Provide training and support to HR users in Sub‑Saharan Africa on the Recruitment module.
- Support HR and business with ad hoc functions as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or a similar HR role.
- Familiarity with South African Labour Relations and Employment Equity legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is advantageous.

Location
This role requires you to work on‑site at our office in Jet Park, Gauteng, South Africa (ZA).
