A leading FMCG group in Johannesburg is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the IT infrastructure move to a new location. The role requires experience in server deployment, network administration, and managing both physical and virtual environments. The ideal candidate will have MCSA certification and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. This position offers a competitive salary package.

You will be key to the planning design deployment and secure migration of the companys technical systems as they transition to a new future-proof premises.
This Systems Engineer role is Johannesburg-based with a CTC of up to R840K per annum.

As Systems Engineer your role will be to lead the technical planning and on-the-ground execution of the IT infrastructure move to the companys new location. You will support the IT Manager with both strategic input and hands-on implementation auditing current infrastructure coordinating disassembly and reinstallation of servers and network hardware configuring and validating systems and ensuring all services are restored without disruption.
Your responsibilities will include setting up & configuring hardware / software managing virtual environments (Windows / Linux) deploying Active Directory & Office 365 maintaining servers and workstations and overseeing post-move optimisation and support. Youll also configure peripherals like access control printers and Wi-Fi ensuring full operational readiness in the new environment.
