Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a qualified Materials and Logistics Manager for a dynamic Project Team in Cape Town. The role involves managing all aspects of material movement to ensure alignment with project schedules. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in logistics within construction or mineral processing, preferably in Africa. Responsibilities include supervising the Materials team and liaising with vendors for efficient logistics management. This is an on-site position offering a chance to work in a multinational team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience in materials management and logistics coordination.
• Experience in construction or mineral processing projects in challenging environments.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and vendor expediting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the quality of output of the Materials team.
• Coordinate material transportation and logistics activities efficiently.
• Supervise the Materials team’s compliance with standards and regulations.
