Job summary

A logistics and transport company in Durban is seeking a SQL Database Practitioner to provide critical support to database management. In this role, you will assist with ensuring the integrity and security of databases, monitor performance, and execute backup tasks. Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of applicable database administrator related experience.
• Experience supporting and working with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Minimum 8 years’ database administrator related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the SQL Database Administrator and System Administrators.
• Monitor database performance and alert the SQL Database Administrator of any issues.
• Assist in executing backup and recovery procedures.
