Overview
Provide technical architecture in delivery projects, serving as solution architect, technical subject matter expert, evangelist and liaison to project, business and executive stakeholders during all stages of project or program delivery.
Ensure customers recognise value from deployed solutions through implementation of best practices.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to scoping activities by working with client observability teams to define early technical architecture
- Helps develop statements of work (SoW) or Customer Change Orders (CCO)
- Delivers observability solutions that include AppDynamics best practices, customer goals and priorities, and practical implementation considerations
- Contributes to all aspects of project technical planning including customer kick-off, project and sprint planning, deliverables review
- Contributes to and owns appropriate technical processes and deliverables, including Technical Architecture workshops and documentation
- Documents 'as-is' and 'as-planned' solution assessments and environment health reviews
- Participates in the observability project methodology including Sprint Planning / Estimating, Project execution tasks, Sprint administration, and other project technical support activities
- Assists Project Manager with project and program management including : Governance Plan, Customer Training Strategy, Change Control, Testing and Deployment Strategy
- Engages with executive stakeholders to drive successful project and program outcomes
- Works interactively with all project staff, both internal and customer
- Helps develop and enable champions and important stakeholders within the customer project team, extended team, and executive leadership
- Shares solutions for new stakeholders and relevant activities with Product Sales, PM and others to assist in new services sales and stronger project sponsorship from customer stakeholders
- Actively participates in the evolution and technical content with the Services Portfolio as technical design authority and deployment practices input
- Acts as APM design authority within Services, providing best practices, and standards based architectural guidance
- Transfers knowledge to others within Service as part of a post-sales / post implementation retrospective and review activity
- Provides mentoring skills and guidance to foster the technical and professional development of internal Solution Architect candidates within the Field Services team
