Summary of the role
Located off-site from the client, our sourcers conduct candidate outreach on behalf of the client. They complete an initial pre-screen of applicants and candidates and work closely with on-site team members to provide candidate maps and insights based on their candidate interactions. They actively pipeline for pre-identified talent pools.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment Process
- Own the initial candidate recruitment experience in partnership with our onsite Talent Advisors.
- Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, jobs skills, and salary requirements.
- Provide information about the organisation and position and promote our employer brand online and offline.
Candidate Relationship Management
- Utilise sourcing tools and techniques to identify and attract candidates such as online social networking, traditional networking, searches, and referrals.
- Understand and expand on seasonal/market condition trends and related staffing needs.
- Attend industry-related functions to explore networking opportunities and gain enhanced industry/functional knowledge.
Relationship Management
- Work with onsite Talent Advisors and Delivery Managers to understand business requirements to effectively source qualified candidates.
- Ensure company staffing needs are filled in a timely manner, and that the company maintains a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
Data and Performance Management
- Responsible for maintaining accurate data in relevant recruitment process systems.
- Clearly track and monitor their results to ensure delivery of performance targets.
- Measure conversion rates, including, numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and are ultimately hired.
Administrative
- Performs other related and ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Knowledge and extensive prior experience using applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent prioritisation skills, written, and oral communication skills are required.
- Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, while creating and managing strategic alliances.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
- Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs, beating competitors, and operating within financial resource constraints.
- Ability to effectively work in a fast paced, detail oriented and deadline focused environment.
Education and work experience
- A Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years’ experience in full lifecycle recruiting.
- A background working in the financial services industry.
