B2B Marketing agency in the North of Johannesburg is seeking an experienced and passionate, SEO/AEO and AdWords specialist to join our team. As a key member of our company, you will play an important role in leading the agency in the latest trends in both SEO and SEM. Optimising our clients' website presence and performance on search engines. This role involves both strategic planning and hands‑on execution. You'll also manage and optimise pay‑per‑click campaigns across various digital platforms, contributing to our overall digital marketing strategy and business growth.

REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES
  • Must be able to create and implement effective SEO/AEO strategies that align with our business goals.
  • Conduct extensive keyword research to identify profitable keywords and opportunities, must also be able to identify personas and user intent.
  • Work closely with the content team to guide keyword focused content creation, strategy and optimise existing content for better search visibility.
  • Conduct website audits for desktop & mobile and effectively implement optimisation strategies.
  • Be confident in creating performance reports using Google Looker Studio. Must be able to provide actionable insights based on data analysis. Analyse metrics such as CTR, CPC, engagement, conversion rates and ROI.
  • Must be proficient in the following tools: Google Analytics (GA4), SE Ranking, Google search console, Google Tag Manager.
  • Must be an expert at AdWords campaigns, create, set up, manage, and optimise PPC campaigns across various flatforms.
  • Manage daily and monthly campaign budgets to maximise ROI and meet KPI’s.
  • Stay abreast with latest SEO and AdWords developments, trends, marketing strategies etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: 4-7 years of proven experience in SEO and Adwords role at a marketing agency.
  • Up to date Google certification is essential.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in SEO/PPC tools (e.g. SE Ranking, Moz, SEMRush), Google Adwords, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in working in B2B industry would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team.
