Job summary

A leading HVAC services company in South Africa is seeking a Servicing Technician to respond to call outs and perform maintenance and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. The ideal candidate has over 5 years' experience in the HVAC industry and is able to manage projects at customer sites. This role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel outside South Africa for some projects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience as a Servicing Technician in the HVAC Industry.
• Experience working with heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
• Ability to manage projects at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to call outs and conduct maintenance and servicing of HVAC equipment.
• Travel for projects outside South Africa when required.

Job description

Overview

Main purpose of the job: Respond to call outs, conduct maintenance and servicing of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and conducts projects at customer sites.

Working Environment: Based at customer sites or the workshop. Exposed to heights, outside elements and high noise levels on a regular basis. Some project work takes place outside South Africa, so travelling will be required at times.

Requirements

• National Diploma (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning)
• Trade Test (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning)
• Driver’s license - Code B
• Valid safe handling of Refrigerants Card
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Servicing Technician in the HVAC Industry
