Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to service Port Elizabeth and the surrounding Eastern Cape area,

  • Facilitating the movement of cultivars through the evaluation and development of a business strategy for each cultivar.
  • Expedite the movement of new cultivars through quarantine & citrus improvement scheme for Disease Free certification.
  • Manage processes of evaluation to determine value potential.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives in the citrus cultivar market.
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for the company's citrus products.
  • Create sales forecasts, budgets, and ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand in the citrus market.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Manage the process of IP protection of cultivars that show probable value.
  • Develop, implement and co-ordinate a sales management strategy for each cultivar.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
