Our client is looking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer for their Cape Town location.

Key Requirements

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Software Engineering, with a focus on test automation architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks (Cypress / Selenium / Playwright) using JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing performance, load, and / or security testing strategies.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments (e.g., GCP) and CI / CD integration.
• Proven ability to define QA strategy, mentor team members, and drive large-scale process improvements.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
