Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains a basic understanding of relevant project management related policies, frameworks, procedures, plans and systems as relevant to processes.
- Understanding the sustainability within project environment.
- Develops and applies criteria to determine whether initiatives should be registered as projects.
- Acts as a reference point for project management queries and information and an advocate for best practices in project management.
- Assists and advises relevant internal stakeholders, and teams to the best use of project management disciplines and approaches.
- Undertakes other duties or manage certain projects which may arise or as may be delegated from time to time.
- 30% reporting.
- Prepares and submits reports / statistics of work undertaken reports to various structures as required, in accordance with the reporting schedule.
- Compiling budget for the area of responsibility.
- Report on and manage budget expenditure and movements.
- Identify the deliverables in accordance with a formulated project plan to determine the resource requirements in terms of availability and competence.
- Select staff and allocate to the identified areas of responsibility.
